18S Amplicon Sequencing Across Four Body Compartments

The PathOID.ai 4-Sample Parasite Panel uses 18S ribosomal RNA amplicon sequencing across four simultaneous sample types to provide the most comprehensive multi-compartment eukaryotic organism survey available through PathOID.ai. Sequencing reads are classified against a curated reference database of nearly 500,000 18S rRNA sequences spanning 33 eukaryotic phyla, developed specifically for eukaryotic pathogen detection.

Why multi-compartment sampling matters: Different parasitic organisms colonize different anatomical compartments. An organism detectable in blood may not shed into urine. A fungal colonizer of the oral mucosa may not appear in a blood sample. Relying on a single sample type creates blind spots.
