Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
How long will it take to get my orders?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email. Note: Kits are officially being sent starting August 15, 2025
Are the test results diagnostic?
No. Our kits are educational tools designed to provide insights into your microbial and parasitic environment using metagenomics. They are not a substitute for clinical diagnosis.
What samples do you test?
We currently accept stool, cheek swab, saliva and hair. Instructions are included with your kit. Expanding to more sample types in the future. Have a specific sample type you want tested? Contact us at: hello@PathoID.AI to inquire.
What is the difference between shallow and deep sequencing?
Shallow sequencing typically generates around 2–5 million reads per sample and is ideal for broad microbial profiling or routine testing.
Deep sequencing produces 10+ million reads, allowing for more sensitive detection of rare organisms, low-abundance pathogens, and co-infections.

How long does it take to get results?
Results are typically available within 6-8 weeks after your sample is received. You'll be notified via email.
Who performs the sequencing? Do you run the tests and bioinformatics in-house?
- We’re a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) service. Sequencing is performed by certified partner laboratories that follow strict quality control (QC) protocols.
- We do not perform sequencing or bioinformatics in-house. Instead, we oversee the entire process, from sample collection to result delivery, and use advanced external bioinformatics pipelines to ensure accurate interpretation.
Is my data safe? How is it handled?
Absolutely. We prioritize your privacy with strict data safety protocols:
- Each sample is de-identified and labeled with a randomized ID code the moment you place it into our collection kit.
- Reports are generated without names or any direct identifiers.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- Only authorized staff and certified lab partners, bound by confidentiality agreements, can access the sequencing pipeline which only uses de-identified information.
